CONGRATULATIONS to the 2023 Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Recipients

The board of ConVal Community Dollars for Scholars (CVCDFS) awarded nine scholarships to 2023 ConVal graduates for the school year. The nine recipients have varied interests and educational goals, but the common thread that weaves them together is their grit and determination to obtain a post-secondary degree. The board selected the students who best exemplify a Dollars for Scholars recipient, based on their goals, financial needs, and life challenges. Our scholarship recipients are:

Jada Stevens of Dublin won the highest and most prestigious award, receiving the John F. Vance scholarship in the amount of $16,000.  Jada will be studying sports management and coaching at Keene State College.
The Ken Christian Memorial Scholarship, funded in part by Bellows-Nichols Insurance in the amount of $10,000, was awarded to Danielle Luke of Peterborough.  Danielle will be attending the University of New Hampshire to study elementary education.
